What the service does
IonTrack researches a question against public web sources and returns a board: a verdict that rests on facts, each quoted from a page that was fetched and stored, together with what it could not establish. It is a research tool. It does not give legal, medical or financial advice, and a board is evidence for your decision rather than the decision.
What we promise about the evidence
Every fact on a board is checked against the text it was taken from, and a fact that fails a check is refused and shown as refused. We do not fill a gap with something plausible. We do not promise that a source is right — only that we quote it accurately and tell you which one it was.
Credits
- Credits are prepaid and do not expire.
- A credit is one US cent of the external research spend a run makes.
- Starting a run reserves an estimate; when it ends, what it did not spend returns to your balance.
- Credits have no cash value and are not transferable between accounts.
Your account
Keep your password and API keys to yourself; anything done with your credentials is done as you. One person or organisation per account. You may export everything we hold and close the account at any time from the account screen.
What you may not do
- Use the service to gather information about a private individual.
- Resell boards as if a human researcher produced them.
- Work around the plan caps, the rate limits or the credit system.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as it is. We will tell you when a run fails and refund what it did not spend, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and our liability for any claim is limited to the credits you have bought in the twelve months before it.
Changes
If these terms change materially we will say so before the change applies to a new purchase. Questions: support@iontrack.ai.
